Brompton在英國祝我新春愉快

Dear All,

針對清漆版的交貨問題，我們已於今日得到英國原廠的最新通知，他們感到抱歉但並無法如先前答應的於農曆年前給我們車子了。
其實自從2005年清漆版問市以來，這個原本不量產的顏色卻意外廣受喜愛而成為最受歡迎的顏色。
然清漆版要求的高精細度作業流程，低污染的作業環境，著實讓原廠吃足了苦頭，08年時更一度決定放棄量產，最後因為我們和日本等其他代理商爭取而得已平反。

要求品質的Brompton卻於2008年10月發現有部份的清漆車子有品質瑕疵，而造成原廠必須修改製程重新驗証，這也是造成這次Delay的主因。
先前跟各位報告約於1月中可以交貨，和分批出貨的作法，都是根據原廠給我們的資訊而來;而非信口開河。

期間我們和原廠在必須品質的堅持和體諒各位久候的心情間拔河，最後的結果還是令人失望....
了解各位不期待一個只會抱歉的代理商，我們日後會也會要求原廠改善，然這次，真的對不起, 我們盡力了.....



以下附上來自英國亞太區行銷經理Quinnton的來信說明。

Hi Ben,

I hate to be the bearer of bad news especially before the Chinese New Year but we will not be able to ship the RL bikes to you.

The good news is that we believe that we have now resolved the quality issues with the raw lacquer finish and the frames will be painted at our painters in Wales and we will start receiving framesets for 'M' type bikes on Wednesday 28th January and 'S' and 'P' type bikes on 2nd February. We aim to build these bikes within 2 or 3 days of receiving the parts.

I know this is not going to make some of your customers happy and we apologise for any inconvenience this causes them as well as you. We hope that they receiving 2009 specifications with the 2008 price will go some way to make them feel better, but it is us that need to improve and work on reducing mistakes.
